Carmela’s life is living proof that no situation is beyond the reach of God’s redeeming love to heal and repurpose.  Born in Delaware and raised in southern Chester County in a home where power was too often misused, she learned early the difference between authority that protects and authority that overreaches.  Those childhood lessons about boundaries, accountability, strength versus tyranny, and leadership versus control later helped her recognize the same dysfunctional patterns in government and politics.

At fourteen she was pumping fuel at New Garden Aviation to pay for flying lessons, earning her FAA Private Pilot certificate in 1998. That work ethic carried her through a twenty-year career at FlightSafety International, where she rose to manage FAA and TSA regulatory compliance and training standardization across twenty-seven locations worldwide. Her signature achievement: the consolidation of twenty-seven separate training-center certificates into one streamlined nationwide program.

While working full-time she earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies with high honors from Lancaster Bible College. In 2017 she left the corporate world to attend Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law full-time on a full-tuition Dean’s Merit Scholarship, graduating in 2020 and gaining admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2021.

Her deepest turning point came in 2001. Searching for answers after the September 11th attacks, Carmela immersed herself in the writings that shaped America’s Founders—Locke, Montesquieu, and above all the Bible itself. What began as an intellectual quest to understand the greatest system of self-governance the world has ever known became a spiritual homecoming. She discovered that limited government can only endure among a moral and faithful people rooted in strong families who govern themselves first. That conviction—born where history, philosophy, and Scripture converged—led her to a living faith in Jesus Christ and has guided every step since.

Since 2019 she has quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) poured that conviction into grassroots advocacy across Chester County: co-founding efforts that preserved Big Elk Creek State Park and defeated predatory rezoning in Oxford Borough, using Pennsylvania’s Right-to-Know Law to expose inappropriate school materials and election irregularities, producing investigative videos that reached more than a hundred thousand viewers, leading winning local campaigns, running strong Republican primary races for the Pennsylvania House, and serving on the Republican National Lawyers Association’s election-integrity team for Dr. Oz, Senator McCormick, and President Trump.

Carmela lives in New London with her husband Mike. When she’s not working, you’ll find her painting, hunting, fishing, flying, riding motorcycles, or training dogs—always grateful for the grace that turned a restless searcher into a joyful warrior for faith, family, and freedom.
